Methods to Improve Quality of Sleep and Insomnia
Have trouble sleeping? You are not alone, CDC.gov states that over a third of U.S. adults have trouble sleeping. I have always had difficulty falling asleep and getting a full restful night's sleep. I have tried many methods from going to the doctor for prescribed sleeping medication to taking melatonin but I have found out for me these are more of a short term solution. The most effective things that work for me are exercising early in the day and managing stress and anxiety as much as I can. I try to this by winding down at night by reading, listening to music or podcasts. Sleep problems appear to me to be more individualistic than I may have first thought, everything might not work for everyone but hearing from other people can you discover ways that help you unwind and relax at night.
